Ditto all the positives from any other reviews you’ve read on this stroller – best stroller I've ever seen, hands down.
We started out ordering a Tike Tech 360 from this site and had serious problems with it. The people here at Happy Mothers were AMAZING in their customer support. I kept waiting for the “gotcha” as they made promise after promise. But they came through on everything and we ended up upgrading to the BOB Revolution Duallie. Standard free shipping arrived overnight to central PA. I am definitely coming here for my next purchase.
I only have a couple complaints on this stroller: First, the storage compartment under the stroller is ample but hard to access. It’s near impossible to stuff even slightly bulky items (e.g. diaper bag) into the storage compartment without pushing up on the bottoms of the seats (lifting your kids a few inches). Not many options, though, for the designers, since lowering the compartment would reduce ground clearance, and the axle blocks a larger opening to the rear.
Second, there really should be a simple latch to keep the stroller folded when putting it away. We just leave it loose and toss it behind the 3rd seat of our Honda Odyssey minivan, which works fine. But you have to get the hang of just where to hold it so it doesn’t flop open while getting it in & out. My petite wife manages on her own just fine.
We got the BOB sun/wind/bug screen for this stroller, which was hard to get because it’s easily confused with the rain cover and the sun/wind/bug screen for the single BOB. When we got the right product (which I believe is now sold in some places as Sasha’s Double Sun/Wind/Insect Cover), it was perfect, very well made, and very functional. We also got two sets of sheepskin BOB Warm & Fuzzy inserts – also very nice, especially for our 2-mo old.
One of my favorite things to do with this stroller is to head straight for a door opening, the look on other peoples’ faces betraying their thoughts (“That stroller is huge, surely this guy doesn’t think he’s going to get it through that doorway? The kids! Whiplash!”), then, as I glide right through without slowing down, the look changes to amazement, as if the stroller is related to the magic bus from Harry Potter.
When you’re pushing your kids through the park with this stroller, there’s no question in your mind that you have the best stroller out there. From the feel of the padded push bar, to the incredibly low rolling resistance, to the ability to glide over the roughest terrain while the suspension absorbs all the bumps, this stroller is just a joy to use. It takes a while to get over the sticker shock – but after the first month or two of using it, you know it was money well spent.
