This strap bends and holds its shape which is how it stays on the car seat. It works just as I'd hoped - was super easy to install and, granted, you have to remember to use the hooks in order to get their benefit....WOW! In our household Buckle-Pals has ended what we call the "car seat rodeo"! No more digging around for the darn seatbelt straps!! :-) Buy this one with confidence!
