Loved this travelmate. We made two trips cross country last year and their were two layovers in between each trip. This gadget saved us. We had to run in some cases to make our gate and our daughter loved sitting in her comfortable Britax baby seat while being pulled around. The security all the way across was very nice too because they helped us get the travel mate through in a timely manner.



However "Happy Mothers" has the worst customer service ever. They originally sent us a broken travel mate and would not take it back and send us a new one. They wanted to just sent a new part to us. How ridiculous!! The customer service girl and her manager both were horrible!! STAY AWAY!! We ended up calling GoGo Kidz (the company) and they helped us with no problems. They called "Happy Mothers" and forced them to send us a new one with no shipping charges. Love that company!



Mothers are NOT so happy with "Happy Mothers" and would not recommend them.

I had to travel to Colorado from North Carolina recently by myself with my 7 month old and wanted to make the easiest transition possible through the airport. I debated purchasing the strap that connects to the rolling luggage, but knew I still needed some type of stroller for outings. Rather than gate-check a carseat AND a stroller while carrying a carry-on AND a diaper bag, I opted to purchase this. Thank God I did! Once you understand the instructions attaching it to a carseat is easy, and they also included three types of attachments for different model seats. My husband and I did a test drive at the mall (HIGHLY recommended) so there wouldn't be any surprises when it was just me. Be prepared for curious looks and vocal exclamations of surprise!



Once at the airport security used the hand-wand since it wouldn't fit through x-ray...without the baby in it, of course...and one woman working there actually told another woman, "This is the Cadillac of carseats." Two female flyers stopped me and asked where they could purchase one; countless others with kids in strollers/carseats/carriers/their arms watched me walk past and flashed looks of "Why didn't I think of that?"



The only type of issue I had with this is the telescoping handle, and it's only a preference issue. I would prefer the button not be so wide-my husband was pushing the carseat forward with one hand and accidently pushed the button and the handle came down rather jarringly. If there were a smaller, second 'safety' button on the side of the handle that could be pushed with your thumb along with the wide button in the middle of the handle, that would make this product 100% perfect rather than 99.9% perfect. But it certainly isn't a deal breaker.

We love our travel mate b/c it has made traveling in the airport so much easier. If you are taking a car seat on the plane this is the way to go. REMEMBER- when you get to security, you DO NOT have to take it apart. Just ask the security person to please "wand" the car seat if it doesn't fit thru the conveyor belt.

This saved our lives roaming through the airport with a 3 year and 1 year old when we moved to Japan. Getting on the plane was a little trying, but the wheels popped right off and the car seats sat in the airplane seat with no problems.. Popped right on as soon as we got to the door of the plane.. Would suggest this for any traveling parent who decides to take the car seat on the plane.

We bought this for a trip to Colorado in January. It is well worth every penny we spent on it. It was so nice not having to deal with a stroller in the airport, having to gate check a stroller or wait for the stroller once we arrived. We didn't have to take it off of the carseat at security, like others have said, so that may depend on the airport. Excellent product,well worth the money!

This is awesome for travel -- only slight bummeris that at many security checkpoints, you have to take it off (which I consider a flaw with the machines, not with the product).
