What do you like most about this product? When open, it leaves an unobstructed pathway.
What do you like least about this product? Difficult to operate with one hand.

Comment:

Gate is exactly as advertised. It is easy to install and leaves a completely unobstructed pathway when it is open. Only caution would be that I would not recommend it for an area where it needs to be opened and closed often because it takes 2 hands to operate.

Love it!

What do you like most about this product? I love how easy it is to put out of the way!

Comment:

This product is wonderful! We have it at the top of a few stairs that leads to our den. It is not simple to pull out and retract, but that is what makes it safe for toddlers. My son watches everything I do, and repeats it with accuracy. This he will not be able to figure out for a while! Safe, Convenient, and Looks good!

Best Baby Gate for Stairs

What do you like most about this product? Secure Design
What do you like least about this product? Installation

Comment:

Installation was tricky for my stair case, but after the first two holes, it was a piece of cake. I don't know what we would have done without this gate. We had four gates prior to this one, and all failed to provide the security from the stairs as this one.

Great Gate

What do you like most about this product? That it easily tucks away
What do you like least about this product? It's a bit difficult to lock and unlock the bottom hook

Comment:

We actually use this gate when we want to lock our dog in the kitchen. I like how it neatly tucks away when open, but it's definitely a bit challenging to open and close with one hand. The hook at the bottom requires a bit of work to perfectly latch and un-latch. However, we are happy with the gate, it blends into the wall, super light weight, easy to install and serves our need.

We just received and installed this gate at the bottom of our staircase. This was the only gate that I was able to find that had the option to attach to wrought iron railing (need to purchase two kits for this separately). This gate does the job of blocking our daughter from the staircase and retracts easily so we can move up and down the steps freely at night while she's in her crib. If you keep the button pressed in while opening the gate retracts quietly. The key to using this gate successfully is reading the instructions!

My daughter can get past it!

I like this baby gate guard over all. I use the gate to seperate my kitchen fron the play room. I needed a guard that would work in a 45 inch space and was able to roll up completely (I have a portable dishwasher I need to roll from one side of the room to the other, so I couldn't have a guard with a metal bar on the bottom). There is one problem I encountered... My threshold had moldings at the base, so I had to set the gate a bit higher(about 2 inches off of the ground). Well, my 2 year old daughter can now slither under it, especially since it made of a "fabric" type material (it has some give!). So make sure upon set up, it is kept as close to the ground as possible.
